Athletics Manitoba is the provincial sport governing body for track and field, cross country and road running in partnership with the Manitoba Runners Association. The proceeds from this initiative would be used to directly enhance our programs and events. It would allows us to reach a wider audience and offer more opportunities throughout the province, in both Track and Field, Cross Country and Road Running.
To address any financial shortfalls resulting from regular programming and to further elevate the scope and excellence of the association’s ongoing initiatives.
All proceeds raised through the Manitoba Amateur Sports Sweepstakes will directly support Basketball Manitoba and its province-wide grassroots and high-performance basketball programs. Funds received through the sweepstakes will be reinvested into Basketball Manitoba’s mission to grow and develop the game at every level — from youth introductory programs to elite provincial teams. Proceeds will help enhance athlete and coach development, expand community-based programming, and increase access to the sport across Manitoba.
Cheer Manitoba intends to purchase a new sprung floor to use for all competitions, this will be available for all clubs to use free of charge. The floor will be purchased in stages as there are different parts and are a very large expense to the sport as well as the associated storage costs.
Use of proceeds in athlete training and development plays a crucial role in building strong sport systems. Funds can support athlete training programs by investing in coaching, equipment, and access to sport science services. At the club level, proceeds help increase participation by reducing financial barriers, enhancing programming, and creating inclusive opportunities for new and returning athletes. For championship-level excellence, funds enable high-performance training, travel to competitions, and specialized support, helping athletes reach their full potential and represent their clubs and communities with pride.
The Lottery Funds will help offset high cost of participating in Competitive swimming. Such as travel, coaching, pool rental and equipment costs.
Proceeds from this fundraiser will directly support Football Manitoba athletes by helping to reduce financial barriers to participation. Funds will go toward covering essential costs such as equipment, travel, and registration fees, ensuring that more young athletes across the province have the opportunity to play, grow, and thrive in the sport they love. Your support helps build a stronger, more inclusive football community.
The funds are utilized towards sport development (growing the sport, training coaches and officials), high performance (sport science training) and rural outreach.
To maximize school sport and educational opportunities for high school students that will assist in their holistic development. To provide access to quality, equitable sport and educational experiences for Manitoba High School students. To provide students opportunities to compete and excel in sport in a safe, inclusive and positive sport culture. As well as provide educational support for students around the topics of inclusion, safe sport and diversity. Reduce inequities to provide high school students in Manitoba with quality school sport. Foster a positive and safe sport experience for all participants.
To provide young equestrians with funding support to attend horse shows, competitions and tournaments.
Your support fuels the future of racquetball in Manitoba. Funds will be used to deliver quality programming for athletes, coaches, and officials, expand youth and grassroots opportunities, and ensure Manitoba continues to develop talent for national and international competition.
